Terms and Conditions

Bidders

1. The auction will run from 9am on Friday 9th February to 8pm on Sunday 18th February.  Winners will be notified after this time.

2. All bids are subject to the prize donor’s Terms and Conditions which will be outlined in the auction lot.

3. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds.

4. All items have been donated kindly by the respective parties and as such any respective terms and conditions are applicable.

5. Following receipt of payments, all items are to be collected from West Kent Mind, or can be posted if agreed via email with the Event Organiser. There will be a further cost for postage which will be outlined in the auction lot.

6. The prize cannot be collected or sent to the winning bidder until payment has been made and received by West Kent Mind.

7. All items donated to the auction shall be subject to availability and West Kent Mind shall not be liable for claims, expenses, costs and or any losses or damage experienced by the bidder.

8. Bidders must only participate in the auction should they have the means to pay for their winning lot.

9. West Kent Mind reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.

10. West Kent Mind, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction cannot hold any responsibility or liability from any risks or hazards related to the items won at the auction.

11. West Kent Mind have made no assessment of the suitability or quality of the items sold and the bidder should check the item once received.

12. Complaints relating to the auction should be addressed to jay.finch@westkentmind.org.uk.

Prize donors

1. The prize will be given to West Kent Mind free of charge and no costs shall be passed by the donor.

2. The prize donor will not do anything, nor act in a manner, nor donate an item that will or is likely to damage the reputation of West Kent Mind.

3. The prize donor consents to displaying their details on West Kent Mind’s website and on the auction site or will explicitly express their wishes to remain anonymous.

4. The prize donor confirms that they have the authority to donate the prize.

5. If donating a prize or experience on behalf of a company, the prize donor confirms that they have public liability insurance in place to cover loss or damage that may be incurred by winning bidder.

6. The prize donated by the prize donor complies under the The Sale of Goods Act 1979 that requires all goods bought or sold in the UK to be of satisfactory quality. If there are any defects or issues, the prize donor will notify West Kent Mind who will make it clear to bidders in the auction lot.
